When im sitting at the kitchen table with my freshly painted blue hair you know its time for a tour. OH YAH OH YAH WHIPPITY SHNOODLE HOPPER!!

Hi these are the journals i wrote for our tours many years ago. Read them and enjoy. Count how many times i say rock. it's a lot. Anyway they go backwards from our last real tour to our first. each one one rocked a little harder. I dream of the day when we can tour again. I love being free on the road meeting new people and seeing new places. I hope we get to tour again. Good times. i love you.
"This Tour's Gone Bad"
This was a 10 day 7 show tour we set up for this festival that was supposed
to be huge but was a piece of poop. Greg Stein was our bass player for tour.
He rocks for helping us out. ok so here we go.
May 17th, 2000 ok well like tradition we were off to a late start. we
meant to leave at around 10p.m. we ended up leaving at around 2a.m. i think.
anyway Marq's mom let us take her new minivan (which rocked THANK YOU - MRS.
MARQ'S MOM) and somehow we packed all our equipment, clothes, merch, and everything
else in it and still had room for us. we drove to san antonio and stayed with
our good friend george. he lives in the mexican ghetto. when we got there we
thought we got lucky cuz we found a big stack of unused phone cards on the ground
but they didnt work cuz someone had stolen them and they werent activated so
darn. then we all went to sleep and woke up and watched the simpsons that george
had on tape and ate cereal. i hadn't had breakfast in a long time, so it was
very enjoyable - i believe they were orange corn pops shaped like basketballs.
thank you george.
May 18th we drove to el paso. anyone who has driven to el paso knows
that this is one of the crappiest drives known to man, and i dread it everytime
i think of having to do it. well we got there after 10 or 11 hours of fun. we
were playing at some club la catina catuya or some poop like that . and the
place rocked. oh yah we had bad subway earlier, and we almost hit a flying vulture,
and i got diahrea. that was fun. 2 awesome local bands played before us so thats
always bad when the 2 bands before you rock then you have to go and play after
them and we havent even practiced with Greg on bass once. and the whole diarhea
factor was in effect. so this was our first time ever playing with greg ever.
not even in the garage. so it was scary. we go to set up and gregs bass amp
wouldnt work. so that wasted alot of time . finally we borrowed an amp and totally
rocked. then i broke all my strings. so thats no good. so i borrowed april's
(from london girl) girly gay guitar i think it was pink. anyway it looked really
gay and sounded gay too. but everyone liked us and we were invited back so El
paso rocked this time. woo hoo we then thought we could drive all night but
ended up only making it to los cruces which is like 30 minutes from el paso-
were we slept in the car upright position style. we all woke up after 3 hours
feeling horrible - like you usually do after sleeping in a cramped car sitting
up.
May 19th ok so we woke up at like 6 in the morning due to the fact we
were sleeping in the car. so we ate mcdonalds then drove to mesa, arizona to
play at the nile. we got there at around 12 and just hung out at wal-mart for
a long time and read magazines. then we got a hotel then went to the club. The
nile was huge and i was all excited to play. then they told us we were playing
downstairs. and i was like "yippy" woo hoo. they were having a RAVE upstairs
of all things . it made me want to puke. the downstairs was still cool though.
and they had our name spray painted on the wall twice. that rocked. ok so we
rocked and sold alot of cds. that rocked too. and we got to see all our old
arizona friends from our previous tours. that too was fun. oh yah but then there
was a dead baby bird on the side walk by the club. that was sad. not fun. then
after the show we went to our hotel AND PARTIED ALL NIGHT LONG LIKE THE ROCKstARS
WE ARE And trashed the ROOM.... not. we got mcdonalds again then went to sleep.
those were the worst chicken mcnuggets ever. i dont know how im remembering
all of this in detail. it was a while ago . ok moving on
May 20th we wake up eat some donuts. then drive all the way non stop
to los angeles. we found the club then me and greg ate some popeyes and marq
and denny got mcdonalds again. oh yah we collected the dinosaur pieces the whole
trip and we got doubles the whole tour. no matter what state. it sucked. we
only got like 7 of the pieces the whole time cuz they were all the same over
and over again. ok this show blew. we got there and the band that was suppposed
to play first canceled so we had to play first. then the band after us told
all thier fans to show up at 10. so right when we get done playing around 50
people show up . we were P. O.ed if you know what i mean. we all were in bad
moods then and all wanted to never play again. then i went and got some milk
and cookies from the corner store and ate them on a bench on the street. i felt
better. then we all made fun of other people to make ourselves feel better so
we were all happy. just joking thats what we do all the time. we stayed with
kevin from ten times a day this night. . this was when Marq started mastering
his new style of humor where he would scream things at people at the top of
his lungs. things that would be really mean to the person. and usually these
people were the people helping us out so yah denny, greg and I thought it was
hilarious but i think most the people he did it to thought marq was serious.
and so yah kevin didnt want us to stay at his house again. haha
May 21st we were hoping kevin would let us stay another night but yah.
its ok kevin we still love you. so we left and went to the big awesome city
of hollywood to hang out. not really hollywood isnt that cool at all. i think
we watched Road Trip this day. that movie was hilarious. then we got a 80 dollar
hotel. THANKS KEVIN. hehe

Greg took this picture of us in Hollywood. It was supposed to be a serious
cool band picture but i couldn't stop laughing - so i had to cover my face from
seeing marq or denny.
May 22nd This was the big day of the Angelciti festival. it was crap
and garbage. this was the whole reason we made this tour. it was supposed to
have all these record label people there and everything and they suckered almost
200 bands across the country to do it. we were one of them. so basically it
was just all the bands walking around looking at the other bands tables and
booths and checking out the other bands. we were all skeptics and griping a
whole lot. then we just couldnt take it anymore so marq got under the table
where no one could see him and he started screaming cuss words really loud .
it was hilarious. denny and i were just sitting there like nothing was happening.
then we made it more fun and when people would come up to our table i would
kick marq under the table and he would scream as loud as he could and grab thier
legs. that made the day fun. one guy jumped like 3 feet in the air. good times.
then at night we were supposed to play in "one of L.A.s most happening clubs"
but it was total crap and we decided not even to play cuz it sucked so bad and
there were 2 people there and it wasnt worth our time to load all our stuff
up the stairs and take it all out ot the van. we met these cool bands though.
WORLD rocks. and 2 more but im too lazy to look for their names. This really
cool guy named Paul let us stay at his house. oh yah we went to dell taco afterward
and these weird guys riding these weird bikes talked to us-and one of the wierd
guys on the weird bikes said he was the lead singer of TSOL. i dont know if
i believe him. but he looked pretty white trash so he might been. then we went
to sleep.
May 23rd woke up and ate carls jr. with paul. then we went to Irvine
California to play a HARDCORE DORK show in a garage. it rocked we played with
gooder and they cover "Short lived Happiness" which is one of our songs so it
rocked. and we hung out with them all day and thier cute neighbor girls. oh
yah And ANDREW showed up at the garage so we stayed with andrew. in fact we
stayed with andrew the whole rest of the tour. he rocks.
May 24th Just hung out with andrew i think we went to see mission impossible
2 this night. Steve came too. the movie was poopy. but i got good ice cream
before.
May 25th Oh yah at the festival this guy gave me his card and he has
M.C. hammer on his label and Smokey Robinson. so we talked to him this day and
he wanted to sign us. i was supposed to call them back but i keep forgetting.
then we played another crappy show at chain reaction. our 3rd time there . our
3rd sorry excuse for a show. i dont know why we keep playing there. yet i cant
wait to book the next show. woo hoo *Special note - I never
called that guy back. They really wanted to sign us and they had freaking m.c.
hammer on their label and smokey robinson. At the time it seemed our band was
breaking up, and matt was leaving for his mission, so it felt pointless.
May 26th We were supposed to play in Las vegas but the show got canceled
sorry our las vegas fans. we love you. but then Nick from ten times a day hooked
us up with a really good show at this American Legion in San something by los
angeles. thanks Nick you are d man. the show rocked and there were alot of kids
there and they all rocked and we made alot of new fans and friends. we had a
circle pit and everything. and all the girls had our stickers on their butts.
fun. then we hung out with these girls we met and ordered pizza at thier house
and jumped on thier trampoline. denny fell asleep on the trampoline and i had
to wake him up by jumping really hard. and so he flew in the air and woke up
mid flight. he said it was the worst way to ever wake up. i still had to do
it.

Here we are with Andrew and Steve from Gimetzco. Theyre the two in our shirts. This picture sums up our tour. acting like total spazzmarts. yes i just made that word up. i own it. if you want to use it -you have to pay me royalties.
May 27th We then went back to andrews and on the way home we got a flat
tire in andrews car. so we fixed it then went to andrews and took a nap. then
we said good bye to andrew for the tour was almost over. it was fun we REALLY
THANK YOU A MILLION AnDREW. so we drove to phoenix and couldnt find the club
so we got there right when we were supposed to play. so we missed Prepaid the
band that got us the show in the first place so that was sorry of us. so we
were all tired and looked like poop but we played the tightest set of the tour.
played all the songs straight through really fast and were off the stage in
a little over 20 minutes haha. it was quick. then this awesome band N-Cyde played
after us and they were the best band of the tour. a death metal band that totally
rocked. we only stayed for a few songs though cuz we had A 19 HOUR DRIVE HOME.
so off we went. we ate at wendy's.
May 28th We drove all night and all day 19 hours straight and got home.
greg and i went to a show at the oven that night then in the morning Greg went
back to New orleans and now we'll probably never play again. this was the most
fun tour weve ever had. the end.
TOUR JOURNAL FOR THE
"FREEZE TO DEATH TOUR 99"
December 1st, 1999: Play at dave's pub with Next to nothing in lake charles. it was nice to see our die hard fans there. there werent many others there though. OUr coolest fans (you know who you are) made us a cool weezer cd for the road you rock!!!
December 2nd: Drove to alabama and ate pizza then drove to atlanta and slept in the car in a toys r us parking lot. yee haw!! C.d. player breaks as we try and put radish into the cd player. no more c.d.s the entire tour AHHHHHHHHH
December 3rd: Played a cool show in south carolina.
December 4th: North carolina--after hearing rave reviews of this cool skate park we were playing at we were all pumped. this show however sucked something awful. the sound was horrible and all the people were lame as well . then we let this band use our mics and our p.a. and this fat hardcore white trash band broke our mic and got blood all over it. then when i was like "youre going to pay for the mic" the big fat dude gets all in my face and is a complete fartfergnugen. He tried to say "we should have known they were crazy hardcore" - but yah were from texas and dont know your crap band - sorry we did you a favour and let you use our P.A. and mics. we later took all thier money that they were supposed to get paid - then the fat jerk also gave me his hoodie but i threw it in the trash haha. he later retrieved it and gave me a dirty look. scary.

Here we are playing at the skatepark. We wore fur suits this tour. Matt was a squirrel
December 5th: West virginia with 69 fingers. this show was really cool. it was 69 fingers cd release show and we rocked for the peeps and then ate taco bell . we then went back to their house and we slept in thier basement. that was the first basement i ever saw. we woke up at 2 oclock. 69 fingers were some cool people They rock.
December 6th: We were supposed to play with 69 fingers again today but that got canceled so we drove to morgantown west virginia and played at an open mic night. we played 4 songs and our time was up - it was complete terd. then this hippie blues guy played next and we played with him too - as his band. it was poop as well

oh the hippie. matt and denny "jam" with the hippie while i took a picture to highlight a lowpoint of our lives. hahha
December 7th: No shows just drove.
December 8th: Stayed at steve from big d and the kids tables house.

Here's Matt at Big D's House
December 9th: Rocked out at the university of New hampshire. this show rocked.
like 250 people were there and they love us and our retarded selves. WE LOVE YOU New HAMPSHIRE. some girl kissed me on the cheek at this show too and i told veronica. veronica later cussed the girl out on the phone. i love veronica haha. *special note -Veronica broke up with me after this tour hahah which was 2 weeks and 6 days. This Coke's gone Bad is about her. what a fag.
December 10th: Played with more good friends T.I.P. from keene, New Hapshire. these guys rocked and took us into thier homes for 2 days. we went to see deuce bigalow with them and i must say i was dissapointed in adam sandler's work for the first time. but it was still funny. i liked it but i was just expecting alot more. got my hopes up too high. ok then we played a show. oh yah i got diarrhea this day haha, and had to take a dump in the bathroom before the show and later people told me there was a camera in the bathroom. and i was like great now im probably going to be on the internet taking a big diarhea. just what i need. but then they told me it wasnt turned on and that they only use it on metal show nights to stop people from selling drugs in the bathroom. i was relieved. *special note-While watching duece bigalow i got diarrhea and had to take a massive dump during the movie missing the crucial scene where duece gets his butt crack waxed. this saved the movie for me, and i now own it. Im sorry i doubted you adam.
December 11th: Play at another college but i cant remember the name. it was in vermont with big d and the kids table and weeping anus. weeping anus played first and they have these big girls dressed all stupid trying to be funny. however their was a catch to them marketing their fat girl dancers. the fat girl dancers DIDN'T HAVE ON UNDERWARE!!!!!!!! it was a traumatic experience for all. on one song they took thier boobs out and shook them the whole song. and matt got mooned twice - it was horrible. we got them to later dance while we played too. but i think they had on underware.
December 12th: No show just driving
December 13th: THE DAY WE ALMOST GOT KILLEd. we had just gotten out of chicago and stopped at a mcdonalds where we ate. we were probably in there for an hour or so just wasting time since we didnt have a show. well we finally go back to our car and start driving off when a cop car pulls in front us. then its followed by four other police cars surrounding us. matt put it best when he said" i think this is a mistake" haha. i was busting out laughing at the sight of 5 police cars surrounding us. it was just so hilarious to me. then all the cops got out and had their guns pointed at us and their lights but i still couldnt stop laughing. then we all started laughing so it was worse. i had to get out first and they were all being jerks to me telling me to "stop smiling asshole" and other nice things like that so i knew this was something serious. also thier guns at my face tipped me off. i had to do the whole routine and get on my knees and get handcuffed and everything . i just knew when i got down on my knees i was about to get rodney king'ed. the thought of me getting beat by cops was also hilarious to me so i couldnt help from laughing. next denny and matt were told to get out of the car looking scared and confused. they too were handcuffed. the sight of matt being arrested was also hilarious. so there we were all handcuffed outside in like 20 degree weather -while they searched the entire trooper. this was like the most fun i had on the tour. i think we all agreed on that. anyway it turns out someone said we had pointed a gun at someone so the cops thought we had a gun. we think it was this trucker who cut us off then matt flicked off. well anyway the cops then realized they had made a mistake and were trying to be all funny and tell jokes and give us directions and stuff. they are lucky were not some stupid band who hates cops or we would have to write a song about it. we love cops. *Special note- i had blue hair at the time and when we came out of Mcdonald's i was all skipping to the car really retarded like and screaming cuz it was so cold. I bet the cops were watching thinking "GOOD LORD" we got ourselves a psycho path. they also said crazy people usually laugh before they start doing something crazy, so they were about to shoot me for laughing.
December 14th: Played in rocton illinois. when we got to this old bait shop we asked how any people they had on average at the shows. his answer was 10. this happened to be a monday - so i expected no one. This place was out in teh middle of nowhere with no heater and it was like 20 degrees again -and of course there wasnt anyone there - so we played for supereighteen and they played for us. it was still really fun though.

Here we are playing for Super Eighteen. Theyre doing the freaking wheelbarrow because we rocked so hard.
December 15th: Played at the creepy crawl in st. louis. it was an ok show. pretty boring. stayed at a hotel that didnt have T.v. that sucked. then denny forget his blanket that his grandma made for him there. so that sucked also.
December 16th: Bowling Green, kentucky. THIS SHOW ROCKED. we played with PIMP SLAP, and it was most rocking. it was at a little coffee shop that was had a capacity of 46 but like 100 people were there. it was packed out. everyone took our stickers so we had 6 left after this show. after the show we got a free hotel room and we did kareoke all night with jeremie's mom. A BIG THANks TO JEREMIE And HIS MOM FOR GETTING US A FREE HOTEL ROOM and GETTING US THE AWESOME SHOW.
December 17th: Memphis, TN this show was cool except for the fact we had to play last and everyone left before we even got play. however the people that did stay were bad ass and we sold alot of merch. we stayed at Jasons house of 7bit. we made new friend bands with 7bit and Hatchback so that rocked too.
December 18th: So with our new friends Hatchback and 7bit we all went to Jackson TN to play another show. this show was fun as well. we then went to the waffle house and they didnt even bring us syrup for our waffles. what poopheads . YAH YOU GOT NO TIP huh. whose laughing now muhahaha - ok you were probably laughing because you made me eat waffles with no syrup.
December 19th: After driving till 5 in the morning we slept in the car then woke up at 12 to drive the rest of the way. this was our first time playing in Denton. and it rocked as well even though we had to play last and have half the people leave. but once again the ones who stayed rocked. both Where's Arney and The Stickies rocked as well. we will be back to denton.
December 20th: OUR FINAL DRIVE HOME WOOHHOOOOO. ive never driven standard before so matt had to drive almost the whole tour. so after matt drove over 5000 miles on the whole tour on our final drive home from dallas he gets pulled over and got a ticket. it was funny...
so over all it was a rocking tour--our best yet--matt drove alot--we sold alot of shirts--made alot of new fans and friends. rocked out had fun. yippy the end
"THE DORK TOUR 99"

A cool sign we saw. Why would someone name a road that even if the creek smelt like terds?
Day 1 Drove 12 hours to clovis new mexico no show today--just driving.
nothing cool happened but we did go skipping through this field with about one
million grass hoppers in it . and they all flew in the air when you walked by
them so it made you feel like the special grasshopper king. that was fun.

Here's Denny and Mack at the site of the grasshopper field
Day 2 Our first show day . it was in albequerque, new mexico. Everett
the guy who set up the show was really cool and the people at banditos Hideout
were really nice too. however there were about 20 people at the show but it
was still fun. got paid 11 dollars. haha.
Day 3: House show in another cute girls house in scottsdale, arizona.
this show was ok but we played really boring and Mack had to sit in front of
the drums the whole show cuz they kept slipping. then after the show these so
called punk people came and tried to start a fight. see scottsdale is supposed
to be the rich part of the tempe area and they were from peoria and they said
someone called them gutterpunks so they had to come to the show and put down
the rich kids whose mommies and daddies buy them everything-- but when they
were finally getting into thier cars one of their cell phones went off. fashion
punks-- who need them? *special note- when I wrote this hardly
anyone had cell phones. so it was extremely funny. now every homeless person
even has a cell phone. i dont have one though because i dont like them - due
to the fact almost everytime im in subway someone is always on their cell phone
saying "IM AT SUBWAY" really loud and i want to tell them they are gay.

Here we are outside of that girls house in arizona.
Day 4: ONE OF THE COOLEST DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
(pretty sad huh?) well we drove to Los Angeles and we didnt have a show this
day - so we went to Hollywood to get some drum stuff at Guitar center. and while
denny was going to the bathroom i thought i spotted Kenny Wayne Shepard. so
i was like denny hurry up i just saw Kenny Wayne shepard. so he was like cooooool
too. so we went upstairs to the drum section, and to our suprise it wasnt kenny
wayne shepard - IT WAS THE ENTIRE GROUP OF HANSON. They were with thier dad
checking out a new electronic drum set. WE WERE LIKE OH MY GOODNES ITS HANSON!!!!!!!!!
like a bunch of little girls. There were already some little girls getting autographs
by the way. Being the dorks we are i was like "GO GET THE CAMERA". so matt did
and then no one had the nerve to talk to them. so finally i went over and asked
the oldest one who i thought was kenny wayne shepard if we could get a picture.
they were so nice Taylor was all like introducing himself like we didnt know
who they were. then thier dad took 2 pictures of us and them together. the pics
didnt come out good cuz there wasnt enough light but theres one at the top of
the page. IT rocked so hard-- in a time where lots of little bands think they
are so special it was nice to see Superstars like Hanson being down to earth
cool guys. I LOVE HANSON ANd WILL FOREVER DEFEND THEM. SO dont make fun of hanson
cuz they rock. oh yah and i gave Taylor our cd to check out IM still waiting
for his email but hes probably too busy to.

us chilling with Hanson --yah were cool now. one of the highlights of our lives. look how dorky we are.
Day 5: We went to the beach and got wet. Mack got soaked so he was forced
to changed clothes. we should have just made him take a bath while he was in
there. The water made his shoes smell like rotten dead things. Then we played
a cool show in new hall, California. the place was called beats and blunts and
this was probably our best show. the owner however left before the show was
over so we didnt get paid . what a sneaky guy.

Here's Mack getting splashed. this is probably one of my favorite pictures
i've ever taken. I dont know why. i just like it.
Day 6 After the show we stayed with ten times a day. anyway then we headed
to las vegas for a show. this had to be one of the coolest houses weve ever
played a house show in. the gameroom was like half a basketball court- perfect
for a concert. the sound wasnt great but it was stilll fun. we stayed with cool
keith and we went and ate this huge meal at a casino for 99 cents. that place
rocks.

I think this girl got us the show at Beats and Bluntz. look at our great expressions. im being choked and matt looks scared.
Day 7 Woke up went and ate some really good pizza at vegas pizza. since
we didnt have a show this day we drove back to L.a. to support local 30footFALL
at thier show. they got us in for free, and butch tried to get us to come play
a song on stage, but the guitar i had to use wouldnt work so we just looked
like morons and got off the stage haha. we hung out with butch and brian alot
and it was nice to see some houston faces and talk a while. we also met ex-fitz
booky Robbie Cool there. he had moved to san francisco but just recently moved
to Hollywood, so we got a free place to stay as well. That rocked. Butch stayed
there too. so we went there and hung out. Robbie and his room mates were really
nice they rocked. thanks again robbie and your roomates - nice seeing you again.
Day 8: We were playing at Chain Reaction again. last time we played there
they canceled our show without telling us. this time we had to play first and
then they cut us short and we only got to play 7 songs. so still no fun at this
really cool club. we rocked this show too but not many people were there to
see us. that was the story of this tour. NO ONE THERE TO SEE US. if anyone knows
any big bands that need a band to tour with WE'RE RIGHT HERE. oh yah we stayed
with Steve from Gimetzco and i must say he had the coolest house we stayed in.
i also left me shampoo there. and that shampoo rocked. that sucks.

Here we are sitting at Ortiz street. I think we were at Dairy Queen.
Day 9: Wake up at steves and his mom makes us a cool breakfast and his
dad made us hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch HOW COOL IS THAT???? it was matts
birthday this day and he got a muffin with a candle on it. woo hoo. we played
video games and hung out with steve and andrew all day then went to our final
show. WE HAD TO PLAY FIRST AGAIN. and we played for about 10 people. it was
fun and a good show but not the coolest. since there were 10 people there. after
this great show (sarcasm) we just decided to drive home. we started at 12 at
night and drove all the way to las crusomething right by el paso. i wanted to
just be psycho and drive all the way home on no sleep but other people were
wussies and wanted to sleep geez . also at los cruwhatever we had a blow out
in the honda and i had to fix the tire. my boy scout days came in handy. so
we went to walmart and i had to spend 100 bucks to get 2 new tires yippy. oh
yah and while we were at walmart mack fell asleep in the waiting room and denny
put a whole lot of papers and stuff on him. so whith macks already dirty self
he looked like a class "A" homeless person and everyone that walked by stared
at him funny. we took pictures. how nice of us.

Here's Mack sleeping with all the crap on him. hahah he stayed like that for a long time.
Day 10: The whole point in driving all night was that we would get home
a day early. but some people didnt get this so we ended up sleeping 15 hours
and waking up just in time to make it home the same exact time as if we would
have slept the night before. so we drove 11 more hours straight home. i love
driving. in the end it was fun. people acted like they didnt have fun sometimes
but i still enjoyed it 100%.

Three Amigos jumping in the Arizona Sky.
ok here's all the events that occured on OUR FIRST EVER tour
DAY 1: we get up at 4 in the morning pick up denny and head for El Paso.
we took 2 cars so we wouldn't kill each other on the tour and guess what --a
cop pulls us over and gives us both tickets for following too closely. joy to
the world. i always love getting tickets . ok next we get to Pancho's house
early so he let us practice there which rocked since denny only had practiced
with us like 4 times before . ok so were practicing having a good ol' time when
pancho comes and tells us the show was canceled because the clubs alarm wouldn't
shut off or something lame thing like that. so we played in somebody's backyard
to about 15 weed smoking el paso people. it was like 40 degrees and the sound
was horrible luckily i broke a string so we quit. THIS DAY SUCKED however denny
noticed that plateaus looked like nipples so we wrote a song about it and our
bad day. the song rocksssssssssss.

Here's the nipple plateau
DAY 2: We stayed at the La Quinta which was nice so we got up, and started
a 7 hour drive where the famous nipple looking plateau was. i think it was somewhere
in New Mexico, but anyway we made it to tempe with no more tickets woohoo. Tempe
was the best city we went to . it was beautiful. the whole city was so clean
,and all the buildings looked brand new. they also had rocks instead of grass
which i thought was cool. this show was canceled as well so we played at this
sexy girls house. it rocked. first Duplow played and they rocked. they were
missing their horn players so i didn't get the real feel of the band but i still
liked them. Then Never Gonna Score played--it was thier first show ever. they
rocked too. i think they will be a rocking band with time. Then 3 songs into
our set the Cops come and shut down the party. so once again we were disappointed
but it was still fun. Jesse from Duplow let us stay at his house and his Mom
rocked. she made us breakfast and everything. then we even got to practice for
like 2 hours at their house. Jesse and his mom ROCK. also in TEmpe when matt
started his trooper a huge cloud of smoke came out of his engine. we all found
this hilarious even though it could have ended our tour. but it turned out to
be nothing and it never did it again.
DAY 3: We drive to Los Angeles. no show. Los Angeles wasn't that cool
DAY 4: We drive for about 5 hours to San Jose . The whole ride there
it was really foggy or smoggy -i don't know which - but it was horrible. This
was probably our best show. All the bands rocked. They were all hard-core which
made me think we might get booed off the stage but everyone seemed to like us
- so i was happy. i thank Brett of Boy Kick Girl for hooking us up with this
show. I also like the new Boy Kicks Girl cd it rocks. after the show we stayed
with a cool guy by the name of kyle. he rocked as well and he even looks like
Chris Farley . pictures will be up soon.
DAY 5: This was a very controversial day. we drive all the way back to
L.A. rush to get to the show at Chain Reaction in Anahiem. we get there --they
say we can play --we start unloading. then the owner comes up and tells us we
can't play. They canceled our show and didn't even tell us. Turns out members
of Reel Big Fish got thier band The Scholars back together and were having a
cd release party. so our show got canceled since it didnt matter. Most of reel
big fish was there and i saw a save ferris person there too. well anyway we
all got really pissed and i wasnt taking the "we aren't playing the show thing"
to well so we started arguing with the owner and he gives me 100 bucks to try
and shut me up. but that wasn't enough. well luckily Andrew and Steve were there
to see us play (MY Artist guys who draw all my stuff) and they knew Jesse who
is in TEEN HEROES and the Scholars, and jesse got us to play a few songs after
the Scholars played. so even though most the people left after the scholars
got done it still was fun.
DAY 6: Go to Hollywood . were not impressed at all. i was expecting cool
stuff not just ordinary gay crap i can find on Westhiemer. this night we had
a cool show with Chuck in victorville or at least i thought it was going to
be. none of the local bands wanted to play late so the stupid club owner puts
us last. The whole show was punk and then he sticks our dork-ska-fool-butts
on at the end-- what the hell is he thinking . of course right when chuck gets
done playing everyone leaves so we play for like 8 people who liked us alot.
we even played "here in your bedroom by goldfinger and they liked it haha. This
was the new years show so we were supposed to stay with the drummer from chuck's
house (chris) but he didnt want to leave cuz they were partying like it was
1999 or some gay stuff like that. while everyones getting wasted were all reading
this cool zine from cali on the stage minding our own busines when these slutty
drug addicts tried to get us to "party" with them. so we all left. being of
sound straight edge beliefs. then we got locked out so chris forgot about us,
so we got a hotel. OH yah some piece of trash stole my Tuner at this show too
. SCREW YOU VICTORVILLE ---YOU SUCK.

Look how freaking young i look. hahaha
DAY 7: I might be mistaken but i believe this was the day OF THE POOP
INCIDENT. well the whole time in Los Angeles we were staying with Richard and
Stephanie of Drive Thru Records (bless them) and they had bad plumbing so everytime
you took a dump you had to plunge it. they were already mad at us for leaving
the shower hairy which everyone blamed on john since he is the hairiest one
of the group, so john was scared to go to the bathroom in thier toilet becuase
he was afraid he'd clog it up. so after matt wouldnt go with him to a gas station
john decided to use their toilet. we were all just talking and stuff when we
realized john had been gone almost an hour. we checked on him and sure enough
he had stopped up the toilet, and had been nervously plunging away while we
talked care free. Denny the master plunger even tried to get it unclogged but
it wouldnt budge. some how someone jacked with the toilet and it over flowed
sending johns poop on the floor. you can imagine how funny it was and all the
jokes that were directed towards poor john. richard and stephanie cleaned up
the poop since john wouldnt and it seemed they were having a little too much
fun cleaning up human poop. they were laughing entirely too much. Richard had
to pay 125 dollars to have the plumber fix the toilet . sorry richard and stephanie.
i don't think they liked us much anyway. I could write another page full about
the whole poop thing but ill leave it at that.

Richard and stephanie from Drive Thru records. Maybe they would have signed
us if the poop didnt go on the floor and i didnt annoy them so much. looking
back on things i would have done things differently haha
DAY 8: The last day of the tour. good thing because i think richard and
stephanie were tired of us. This show was at Koos, and was so fun. this band
the Thrash Kats played before us and they were hilarious . the singer looked
about 8 and sounded like it too but i think he was really 16 or something .
but they were real punk and what punk is all about and i loved them. Then we
played and with out a tuner we werent sounding in tune. but it was still fun.
After us was FREE RADICALS from houston. how weird is that to go on tour in
CAlifornia and wind up playing a show with a houston band you havent even played
with in houston for over a year. Last time we played with free radicals was
2 halloweens ago with middlefinger and the suspects, and at that show matt's
sister got kicked by some drunk girl so matt's sister put a cigar out on the
girls face. pretty cool huh. well anyway most of the free radicals werent in
the band back then so i didnt know them. but they were all really nice and rocked
. so we had a good time together. Oh yah before the show some mexican gangster
tried to start a fight with Denny because supposedly Denny looked at his "homie".
People are crap these days.

The Thrash Kats at Koo's
DAY 9 and 10: Drove home and took pictures of plateaus. to sum it up
. we ate taco bell a lot. i broke like 8 strings in a week , johns poop got
on the floor, i think denny is going to be our drummer for a while, and the
tour was alot of fun. even though it seemed alot of bad stuff happened - we're
used to it - so its normal for us . so IT ROCKED. i'd do it again tommorow if
we could.
